The rear of the Mini has a full PC complement of ports but you only use three--the AC and two network connections. One of the network connections requires a special cable provided by Google (the orange one in this photo) to connect to a laptop for IP configuration.

Google's custom searches are still limited to the sites Google wants us to see. I entered all 35 auction sites I could find and the Google custom search still ignored the small auction sites. When will there be a custom search engine including the little guys? They have info I need too.

The Google Mini is a really great search solution, and with the component from this site: http://www.components4asp.net/GoogleMini/
The Components4ASP.NET Google Mini component added thumbnails and paging to the google mini results. Take a look at their sample search: http://www.components4asp.net/Search.aspx?q=google+mini

Anyone have experience with the components4asp.net $250 download? Their web site does not say much but if it does anything, it is probably a good start. Can anyone comment on this?

Hey Don,
Their own website uses the component so it produces a good search result when combined with the Google Mini.
Also, their e-commerce component adds filters and many other features. We used that on JeepTopDepot.com to really maximize the Google Mini's search capabilities. Take a look: http://www.jeeptopdepot.com/search.aspx?kw=tops
Also, all their components come with a free trial and sample code, so you can't really go wrong.
